We are over 550 professionals and currently looking for an Edge Network Technical Writer.
Position Overview:
As an Edge Network Technical Writer, you will be pivotal in creating and maintaining documentation for Gcore products and services. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will help create a seamless experience with our Edge Network offerings.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Content Development:
- Develop comprehensive documentation for products, including user and troubleshooting guides.
- Collaborate closely with solutions architects, developers, and product owners to understand and articulate specific features and functionalities.
- Work with product teams to gather insights into upcoming Gcore Edge Network updates.
2. Document Design:
- Organize information to reflect the CDN, DNS, and Streaming user's workflow and journey.
- Utilize visual elements, such as architecture diagrams and workflow charts.
3. Quality Assurance:
- Review and edit documentation for accuracy, clarity, and consistency.
- Update documentation promptly to reflect changes in Gcore Edge Network services and features.
4. Collaboration:
- Collaborate with development teams during the agile development process to ensure documentation is synchronized with Gcore Edge Network product releases.
- Identify and implement opportunities for streamlining and improving the documentation process for Edge Network products.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Technical Communication, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 2+ years of proven experience as a technical writer.
- Strong understanding of Edge Network concepts, services, and deployment models.
- Familiarity with Edge Network platforms such as CloudFlare, Akamai, Fastly, AWS, or similar.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to translate complex technical information into user-friendly documentation.
